Senior Staff Accountant

Position:          Senior Staff Accountant; Strafford, PA (Corporate office)

Status:            Full time; Exempt

Position Summary:

Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, and provide various financial schedules.

Positions Major Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
2. Provide monthly Account Analysis and reconciliation.
3. Oversee preparation of sales tax returns.
4. Perform retail inventory cost analysis.
5. Monitoring of activity under international letters of credit.
6. Financial Preparations as required by Assistant Controller.
7. Reconciliation of Retail stock ledger and Retail Interact query
8. Reconciliation of Retail stock ledger and COS&MD report by season
9. Reconciliation of Retail stock ledger and GL by season
10. Reconciliation of Retail “purchases”
11. Assist in cash management function
12. Work on special projects as assigned

Position Qualifications/Physical Requirements:

1. B.S. Degree in Accounting
2. 3 - 5 years experience (internship exp. applies).
3. Excellent computer (Word and Excel) and organizational skills necessary. Prior AS400 experience a plus.
4. Strong organizational and communication skills necessary
