Where can I find your size chart?

How long has Hartstrings been in business?

Hartstrings was founded by Peggy Hart Earle in 1979 with the goal of designing and producing classic, original and timeless children’s clothing with the traditional parent in mind.  In 1986, Hartstrings expanded to offer this genre of classic sportswear dedicated to boys’ sizes 2T through 7.  The line was so well received that bigger boys’ sizes were added two years later.

In 1992, responding to the growing need for novel infant clothing, Hartstrings unveiled Hartstrings Baby, a line of infant coordinates in sizes 3 to 24 months. A layette collection for newborn sizes was introduced in Fall 2000.

Hartstrings debuted its next division, kc parker, in 1997.  kc parker is a line of clothing dedicated to girls’ sizes 7-16, an updated collection of coordinating separates with the traditional parent in mind. Once again, the tremendous response encouraged Hartstrings to expand kc parker to include the 4-6x girls’ size range in Fall 2001.  The kc parker line has won the prestigious Earnshaw's Award of Excellence in Design for Girls Sportswear (size 7-16) every year since it's debut in 1997.

How can my child become a Hartstrings model?

Hartstrings currently uses local children for their photo shoots.  Hartstrings is always looking for new models in the following sizes:  3-6 months, 18 months, size 5 boy and girl and size 8 girls.  If you live in the greater Philadelphia area and are interested in your child becoming a Hartstrings model, please send a photo with all of your contact information t

Can I receive a Hartstrings catalog?

Hartstrings does not currently have a catalog.  However, our websites www.Hartstrings.com and www.kcparker.com have many of the current collections as well as past season merchandise.  New merchandise is added monthly, so visit often.

Do you ship to Canada and other countries besides the U.S.?

Currently Hartstrings does not ship internationally, including Canada and Mexico.

Can I use a credit card billed out of the country and ship product to a U.S. address?

At this time we cannot process a non-US issued credit card.

How do I return merchandise that I purchased online?

We gladly accept returns on the following basis.

§         Purchased within 30 day from THIS WEBSITE.

§         Garments must be unworn, unwashed and have all original attached tags.

§         Damage

Online refunds will be issued in the original form of payment for price paid. A mail check will be issued when original form of payment is unavailable for credit.

How can I check on the progress of my order?

Login to “My Account” and “View Order History” will show all of your orders and their status.

When will my order ship?

If your order is placed before 12:00 pm it will ship on that same business day.  If your order is placed after 12:00 pm it will ship during the next business day.  Standard shipping methods apply.

Standard Delivery

Orders will arrive within 5 – 10 business days (Monday – Friday not including Holidays or weekends), following credit card authorization and verification.

Express Shipping

For additional charges, your order can be expedited through our warehouse for express shipping. Express orders placed after 12 pm EST will ship the next day pending credit card authorization. Orders will arrived within 2 business days following credit card authorization and verification.

Am I going to receive all of the pieces I ordered?

We make every effort to keep our website inventory up to date.  However, on occasion, there may be an instance where we cannot fill an order completely.  If that happens, you will receive an e-mail with any sold out items you ordered.

Can I purchase a gift certificate online?

Currently our website does not support the sale or redemption of Gift Certificates. 

Do you have sales and promotions online?

Our website is competitively priced and occasionally we have special value pricing on prior season merchandise. You can also sign up online to receive special offers and promotions from Hartstrings via e-mail.  Hartstrings sends out two to three e-mail offers per month.

When Will The New Season Clothing Be Online?              

New Collections and styles are added monthly, so check back frequently.

Spring/Summer Collections begin to be added in January; Fall Collections begin to be added in June and Holiday/Winter Collections begin to be added in October; Cruise Collections begin to be added in November.

How do I apply for a job at Hartstrings?

How can I receive information about carrying Hartstrings in my store?

The Hartstrings brand is sold on a wholesale basis to upscale children’s boutiques throughout the US, Canada and internationally. To carry our line, you must have a physical store located in a zoned business district ~ we do not sell to online sites that do not have a physical store.
