How long has Hartstrings been in business?
Founded in 1979 by Ms. Peggy Hart Earle, Hartstrings represents an upscale girls' lifestyle brand that embodies the essence of classic
American styling with a modern view. Hartstrings builds its success on high quality, unique, age appropriate, coordinated sportswear and occasion dressing for girls', baby to 12 years.
In 1986, Hartstrings Boys was introduced as a better, updated traditional boy's brand. It speaks to the high quality and design as its predecessor and sister brand, Hartstrings. Classic, family coordinated and age appropriate looks are an integral part of its DNA. Though our boy's offering is currently being sold under the Hartstrings name, it will proudly re-launch as Kitestrings for Spring 2012.
In 1997, kc parker was designed & introduced for the fashion savvy 8-12 year-old girl. Created as a way to capture the girl who had grown-up and out of Hartstrings, kc parker is the middle ground for the parent and child; it balances traditional family values and pop culture/trends. Every-day and occasion wear, fashion and core basics, are all represented accordingly. Remembering its traditional roots, K.C. Parker mixes it up through novelty fabrics and silhouettes. Hartstrings currently uses local children for their photo shoots. Hartstrings is always looking for new models in the following sizes: 3-6 months, 18 months, size 5 boy and girl and size 8 girls. Can I receive a Hartstrings catalog?
Do you ship to Canada and other countries besides the U.S.?
Can I use a credit card billed out of the country and ship product to a U.S. address?
How do I return merchandise that I purchased online?
We gladly accept returns on the following basis.
§ Purchased within 30 day from THIS WEBSITE.
§ Garments must be unworn, unwashed and have all original attached tags.
Online refunds will be issued in the original form of payment for price paid. A mail check will be issued when original form of payment is unavailable for credit.

How can I check on the progress of my order?
Login to “My Account” and “View Order History” will show all of your orders and their status.
When will my order ship?
If your order is placed before 12:00 pm it will ship on that same business day. If your order is placed after 12:00 pm it will ship during the next business day. Standard shipping methods apply.
Orders will arrive within 5 – 10 business days (Monday – Friday not including Holidays or weekends), following credit card authorization and verification.
For additional charges, your order can be expedited through our warehouse for express shipping. Express orders placed after 12 pm EST will ship the next day pending credit card authorization. Orders will arrived within 2 business days following credit card authorization and verification.
Am I going to receive all of the pieces I ordered?
We make every effort to keep our website inventory up to date. However, on occasion, there may be an instance where we cannot fill an order completely. If that happens, you will receive an e-mail with any sold out items you ordered.
Do you have sales and promotions online?
Our website is competitively priced and occasionally we have special value pricing on prior season merchandise. You can also sign up online to receive special offers and promotions from Hartstrings via e-mail. Hartstrings sends out two to three e-mail offers per month.
When Will The New Season Clothing Be Online?
New Collections and styles are added monthly, so check back frequently.
Spring/Summer Collections begin to be added in January; Fall Collections begin to be added in June and Holiday/Winter Collections begin to be added in October; Cruise Collections begin to be added in November.

How can I receive information about carrying Hartstrings in my store?
The Hartstrings brand is sold on a wholesale basis to upscale children’s boutiques throughout the US, Canada and internationally. To carry our line, you must have a physical store located in a zoned business district ~ we do not sell to online sites that do not have a physical store.
